Distributed on an "evaluation-before-registration" (shareware) basis, you can try WR-BBS for yourself before deciding to register it. If you don't like it, just erase the files and you are under no further obligation. If you decide to continue using WR-BBS, you then register the program with the author, and you are then entitled to continued no-charge support and free updates. The evaluation copy of WR-BBS is not "crippled" in any way, nor are there any restrictions placed on time or number of uses. Your incentive to register the program is that your callers see the words "EVALUATION COPY" on each call, unless you have obtained the code number needed to tell the program that you have registered it. WR-BBS is flexible enough for business BBS applications, yet intuitive enough for "hobbyist" BBS use. It is a single node BBS designed for 1 to 1000 users. Robust SysOp administration features can be accessed remotely or locally. New users are automatically inducted with WR-BBS's built-in new user questionnaire feature. A custom version of the W-TREE Database Manager has been integrated into WR-BBS for rapid file access and ultra-quick record searches. WR-BBS has a compliment of features rivaling many other shareware BBS applications.
